The award-winning Guangzhou Marriott Hotel in Nansha, Guangzhou Jinmao, is jointly developed by China Jinmao and Marriott Hotel Group to reconstruct the elements of the Jiaomen River and create a classic landmark in the city with the cultural charm of international brands and the vitality and co-prosperity of the destination. Inspired by Nansha's unique marine culture and its natural ecological system, it is based on symbols containing natural and local cultural characteristicsInspiration to create an authentic and energetic travel experience.

In the form of art, it traces back to culture, constructs value identity in the modern context, shows cultural self-confidence, and creates a classic in the city with the cultural connotation of international and local co-prosperity - "releasing the future vitality of the city".

Situated by the Guangzhou's Nansha Jinmao River, Guangzhou Marriott Hotel Nansha enjoys splendid waterfront scenery, featuring 265 residential-style spacious guestrooms comprising warm and neutral tones. Drawing inspiration from Nansha's distinctive marine tradition, wetland, and forest ecosystems, the hotel is designed as an elegant space characterized by local culture and international elements. The design language of Chinese Restaurant extracts from Cantonese Opera originating in Guangzhou to give a sense of locality to the Chinese Restaurant in the hotel.

 

Established in 2007, IDA International Design Awards is one of the most influential international design awards in the United States, advocating sustainable, scientific and intelligent design. The award consists of five categories: architectural design, interior design, product design, fashion design and graphic design. The jury is composed of renowned designers in the fields of architecture, design and fashion from around the world, as well as professional media, and is committed to inspiring the public's attention to excellent design worldwide, leading and generating new concepts that are subversive and innovative, and finding design works that are truly international in quality.
