This seminar focuses on the analysis and guidance of the research topics and design progress of the incoming graduate students in the past two months, and further clarifies and plans according to the problems and work generated. Professor Wang Tie, Dean of the Institute of Construction Design and Research of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, said in his speech that under the support and guidance of tutors inside and outside the university, the workstation has cultivated more design talents and achieved great results, and looks forward to the final exhibition of the final works of this workstation. After that, Mr. Liu Bo, founder of PLD Liu Bo Design Consulting Co., Ltd., delivered a speech to thank everyone for their cooperation and efforts, so that the work of this workstation can be carried out in an orderly manner, and also put forward personal views and ideas for the graduate students' later stage reports.

The 11 graduate students reported on the research progress, achievements and problems faced by the selected topics. In the report, the supervisors also saw that the revision and direction of the graduate students after the thesis opening defense meeting have been significantly improved, which not only adds a rich internal structure to the topic selection framework, but also gives more spirit and value embodiment, making the thesis topic selection more relevant and flexible, these changes are very encouraging.

Among them, Wang Changsheng, a graduate student of Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts, took an international five-star hotel in Fuzhou as a reference case, extracted local regional cultural elements, and used "landscape screening" to shape an international business-oriented oriental space. In his presentation, he put forward his personal view on the use of screens, and changed the traditional view that screens block the scenery through the expression of design art. The cover is half covered by the pipa, the screen is transparent, the partition is also transparent, and the superposition echoes the hierarchical relationship. His external mentor, Mr. Liu Bo, spoke highly of his views, and pointed out that it is important to have a deep understanding of the meaning of elements in element extraction, and a successful hotel work is the product of the perfect integration of many elements, and also encourages him to exchange more with colleagues to learn from experience and grow rapidly.

In the topic selection report of graduate students, tutors inside and outside the university also gave suggestions and guidance for the problems faced by students, hoping that students would be more accurate in topic selection, make full use of the advantages of the platform, and integrate theory and practice with each other and flexibly apply. Although there are still some minor problems for the graduate students, through the combing after the thesis defense meeting, everyone's report has been clearly organized, clear in thinking, rich in elaboration and connotation, and in just three months, their growth and detachment have made the supervisors and experts happy.
