Following the Courtyard by Marriott Shunde and the Courtyard by Marriott Shenzhen Liantou Hotel, PLD has cast the benchmark image of the third Marriott hotel in South China for the Marriott International brand.

 

 

Located in the hinterland of the core area of the airport, close to Shenzhen International Airport and the world's largest international convention and exhibition center to be completed in 2019, the hotel will shoulder the important responsibility of serving the accommodation and conference functions of the core circle of the airport. The design of the hotel is inspired by the theme of the aircraft cabin elements of the hub of the airport airport, the beautiful and soft arc volume, the ergonomic comfort space of the cabin is transformed into interior design elements, and the organic combination of different materials and textures creates a comfortable "dream airliner" like soaring in the clouds, creating a stylish and comfortable rest space for busy travelers in this dynamic city.

 

 

The whole space of the lobby points, lines and surfaces are cleverly linked, and the design of separation is adopted, fully considering the layered realization of visual space, materials and layout, and the staggered construction techniques highlight the layered sense of space. The Saying says, "Round, all." "Yuanno Fengya", the elements of the arc derived from the rounded shape of the aircraft are also filled with the details of the entire hotel space, which is in line with the morphological characteristics of the circle of traditional culture, which is rounded and intelligent, inclusive and harmonious, cherishes harmony, and takes the Confucian golden mean. The associated use of rounded stone on the partial wall extends from the ground to the ceiling, which greatly enhances the sense of space in the lobby.

 

 

Since the previous project was not planned as a hotel, the building as a whole has been completed. The designers needed to re-plan the hotel's functions and various traffic lines to meet the needs of the Courtyard by Marriott brand. In terms of design, the original lobby's two-story glass was removed and replaced with more transparent floor-to-ceiling glass, which greatly expanded the field of view, made light the soul of the space, and made the sun shine the entire space.

 

 

In order to better solve the traffic flow in the public area, the designer added a vertical elevator from the first to four floors, in addition to a revolving landscape staircase from the first floor to the fourth floor, and the spiral turbine staircase design became the focal point of the lobby. The lines spread, integrating poetry into the space of closing and opening, water and moon mirror flowers, reflection pool, between the virtual and the real, the space is rich in layers, the water is clear, and the flower and moon are beautiful.

 

 

The designer deliberately constructs the meaning of the space, the hanging chandelier is dense and orderly, transparent and exquisite, like the sound in the air, the color in the phase, the moon in the water, the subtlety of the image in the mirror, the endless words and endless meanings, creating an indescribable tranquil beauty.
